Our Beliefs
We are biblically-centered in our teaching and instruction. We believe the Bible is God’s Word to man, and by knowing it, we can come to know the Lord intimately. While there are thousands of churches that have doctrinal statements that we would agree with wholeheartedly, it is still possible to be doctrinally “right” but spiritually dead. Knowledge puffs up, scripture says. It is possible to believe the right things but live in a way contrary to your beliefs.
Therefore, we do have a “statement of beliefs” and many churches would affirm our doctrinal position. However, we are much more interested in applying our theology to our lives. In other words, we are intimately concerned with abiding in Jesus Christ (John 14) and encouraging one another to live in growing obedience to what He commands expressly in His Word and how He leads through His Spirit. (Hebrews 10.24)

Our Structure
We intentionally focus most of our ministry in homes and small group settings. We believe that people are truly transformed in a setting of biblical community. It’s exciting to realize that the “church” is in your home! Our home group leaders will be well-trained and encouraged to consider themselves as shepherds of the church in their home.
We also come together weekly for worship together, which includes biblical teaching, testimony, prayer and music. You’ll discover a casual atmosphere with a deeply reverent approach to worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that you will feel right at home! After all, the Lord created you in His image. Why wouldn’t you feel at home in His presence?
Our Leadership
We practice shared leadership. Our lead pastor is responsible for providing vision, direction and spiritual leadership for the overall church. Our elder team provides spiritual shepherding of the church as well as serves as counsel, encouragement and accountability for our lead pastor. Our leadership team is composed of members of the church who also practice shared leadership by developing ministry teams in their area of focus. The leadership team meets with the lead pastor regularly for ministry coordination and direction.
We don’t believe that a completely democratic model of church government is a biblical means to lead and direct the Body of Christ. In other words, we rarely “vote” on things. There is a high level of trust for the church’s leaders, and our leaders actively seek to practice servant leadership.
Our Vision
We desire to see God transform our own lives and homes more and more into the image of Jesus Christ and to be used by God to see homes across our region transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ. We desire to see a multi-ethnic and socioeconomic gathering of people from across our region for worship of our Lord and instruction in His Word. As homes are changed, our communities will be changed.
Our Commitments
- We are committed to excellent, biblically-based, and God-centered scriptural teaching.
- We are committed to practicing the lost art of hospitality in our homes.
- We are committed to serving other churches, our community, and people in need.
- We are committed to practicing and being accountable to one another for Christ-centered, healthy relationships.
- We are committed to sharing the Gospel through relationships that we intentionally cultivate with people in our neighborhoods, work places, and the community at large, as well as being Gospel-bearers around the world.
