Journey acquires Victory building

Apr 2nd, 2007 by Jeff | 2

After much discussion, prayer, and research… and then more prayer and discussion, the elders of Journey made an offer on the Victory Christian Fellowship church facility on Tuesday, March 27. The owner countered, and the price was finalized on Wednesday.

We’re very excited to be moving into this new phase of Journey’s growth and history. At present, it appears that we will be in the building sometime in May. This will coincide well with Journey’s annual, mid-May Covenant Renewal Service. It was in May 2003 that Journey’s core group first began worshiping together. At the time, we met in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry building at UAM.

We hope you’ll be in prayer over the next few months as we prepare to serve and minister in a new context. If you’d like to make a special offering toward lowering the cost of the facility, please memo that on your check. If you’d like to give online toward this project, you may do so here.
