Sanctity of Human Life Prayer Walk

Jan 25th, 2010 by Lou | 1

On Sunday afternoon, several members of Journey Church participated in the first annual Sanctity of Human Life Prayer Walk sponsored the Hope Place (a women’s resource center). Members of several churches all across Monticello gathered at the Drew County Courthouse for a walk to the Arkansas Children’s Baptist Home to bring about awareness on the importance of human life.  Once everyone arrived at the courthouse, several pastors and leaders from the different churches lead everyone in prayer.

What a powerful few hours! I am so thankful I was able to participate in this event. God’s love and mercy is so amazing, and I pray we are all able to help women who need that same love and mercy in the way God would want us to.
